Newtown is ready to be part of the solution, but we need a housing policy that actually makes sense for real life. Too often, the system asks towns to absorb more growth without fairly counting what already exists or making sure the roads, schools, water, and sewer systems can handle it.
Michelle believes families deserve housing policy that is fair, practical, and honest.
- Count the affordable housing that already exists in our community
- Fix the formula so the goal is actually reachable.
- Make sure the state helps pay for the infrastructure growth requires.
